Information Services in Evidence Based Medical Education: A Review of Implementation Trends

Objective – Evidence based medical education requires supportive information services to facilitate access the needed educational evidence. Information designed specifically for evidence are limited or locally developed units. For librarians have an opportunity cooperate efficiently with educators in education, they require empirical prototype transmission of clinical at right place and time. Therefore, there is a need recognize types which support education. The purpose this review identify implementation trends services. Methods We found related studies by implementing search strategies PubMed, EMBASE, Web Science, Scopus, LISTA, Google Scholar keywords like: services, library used reference-checking citation-checking articles completing process locating relevant articles. After employing inclusion exclusion criteria, we selected 11 analyzed them using narrative technique. Results analyzing results included studies, identified two elements categorized as program development five trend. Prerequisites designing were essential parts Schedule type access, how receive educational-clinical questions, types, responding time, providing outputs supported Conclusion Designing service strongly depends on needs learners each level. service, time received query, preparation output factors practical educational-developed
